What is Chiropractic? What Does a Chiropractor Do?
Chiropractic, comes from the Greek meaning "done by hand," and is is the 3rd largest primary health care profession, after doctors of medicine (MDs) and Doctors of Dentistry (DDS). It is estimated doctors of chiropractic (DC’s) treat about 35 million Americans each year as chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal pain.
Dr. Christopher Sonich, or Dr. Chris, grew up in the greater Cleveland area. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1996 and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2002. Dr. Chris has been in practice for 17 years primarily treating victims of auto accidents.
I love being a chiropractor! I became a chiropractor to help people feel better but also to help teach people that healing comes from their own body and to always trust and listen to their body. Chiropractic is an alternative to what I call "hospital medicine." Look, medicine will always have a place and we all need it, but it is frequently overused and this abuse is killing us. So I was fascinated how, as a chiropractor, I can help restore proper nerve function to restore people’s natural ability to heal. and ultimately became a chiropractor to teach my patients how to live healthy and heal without the use of drugs. - Dr. Chris
At the Injury Therapy Center of Cleveland, we pride ourselves at being available to our patients. Dr. Chris provides his cell phone number to everyone so they can contact him 24/7 with questions or to schedule an appointment. Dr. Chris’ goal is to get his patients scheduled as soon as possible so he can perform a detailed and thorough examination to provide them with diagnoses and to create individualized treatment programs. We strive to help people begin feel better after their first visit. The chiropractic care and wellness therapy at our office will not only help to reduce your pain but to increase flexibility and strength and to allow people to sleep better and not have pain with daily activities of living.
Dr. Chris Personally Oversees Your Recovery
Unlike other chiropractic offices, the patients at our injury therapy center are always treated by Dr. Chris. Many other accident clinics and injury centers are set-up with a team of office assistants and therapists that become the primary care facilitators. On paper they are designed to assist the doctors with treatment, but the regularly become the staff each patient sees, rather than the doctor. Not with our Cleveland Injury Doctor! At our injury center, the Injury Therapy Center of Cleveland, you are always with Dr. Chris. Our philosophy is to ensure each patient receives the best possible care after an auto accident or sports injury, Dr. Chris, a board certified physician, is the only health professional to administer your recovery.
Auto Injury Treatment Costs Nothing Out of Pocket
Unlike other injury doctors and other chiropractic offices, most providers expect payment for the initial diagnosis, or evaluation, and payment for treatment until the insurance claim is paid out - but Dr. Chris works almost exclusively with accident victims that were injured in an auto accident at no fault of their own. Before scheduling your free evaluation he performs a free administrative search to confirm treatment will be covered by the driver's auto insurance. When a patient has been injured under these circumstances Dr. Chris requires no out of pocket expenses or anything to be paid up front, and he works with injury attorneys and insurance companies so his patients can focus on recovery.
